More Than Just Performers
The CEG Spartanz are the official variety show troupe of the College of Engineering, Guindy, established in 2006. We harness the transformative power of performance to illuminate pressing social issues — from advocating for transgender rights to addressing the Sri Lankan Tamil crisis — all while delivering world-class entertainment that captivates audiences.
Our philosophy is simple: we do not audition solely for talent; we audition for passion and potential. We firmly believe that everyone has a place in the Spartanz family — whether you are a writer, dancer, actor, singer, or social media visionary. With over thirty dedicated members, we are a close-knit community that creates theatrical magic together.
How to Join?
We conduct auditions every academic year. However, if you possess genuine passion and determination, you are always welcome to approach us at the Spartanz room — CEG Square, 3rd Floor. We select based on interest and dedication, not merely on pre-existing talent. Everyone has a place here!
